Analysis of development trends in the Russian stock market

The analysis of the dynamics of development of the Russian stock market over the period from 2005 through the first half of 2012 shows that the lack of long-term investors significantly hampered the development of the national securities market. Considerable attention was given to the investment potential of non-governmental pension funds and mutual funds.
