Fields and the organization of production of diamonds in the Arctic areas of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are considered. The increasing role in the region of the enterprises extracting diamonds from loose fields is shown. The main directions of development diamonds produced from placer deposits in the Arctic areas are defined.
