The problems of transport and supply of the population of the Arctic and the northern regions of Yakutia in socio-historical and economic foreshortenings are presented. The humanitarian component in transport functioning in the North and in the Arctic is marked. On the basis of the analysis of a real situation the road map of steps for development of the Arctic transport of Yakutia is offered.
