For a reasonable choice of scientific approaches, methodology, methods and receptions of scientific research in economy it is necessary to know specifics of research. In the article the features of scientific researches in economy, their complexity, communication with other scientific areas, retarded and creative nature, mediation, coexistence of various theories, limitation of life of scientific results, etc. are considered.
