Direct foreign investment in the Russian industrial policy

In view of lag of the domestic industry from the world level there is a question of the need of a choice of model of industrial policy for implementation of strategy of catching-up development of Russia. In the article comparison of two models of industrial policy - import-substituting and export-oriented is carried out.
     All parties of influence of direct foreign investments as main instrument of catching-up strategy on economy of recipient countries are considered.
