Features of application of receptions of the functional, structural, evolutionary analysis to an assessment of essence of the economic system are studied. The contribution of functional, structural, evolutionary approaches to process of conceptual reflection of functioning and development of economic system is defined. Need of integration of receptions of the system analysis at categorical definition of the economic system is proved.
