In the article the attention is focused on a problem of increase of labor productivity in agriculture. The features of measurement of labor efficiency in the separate periods of economic development of the Russian Federation are revealed. Monitoring of estimated indicators of labor productivity in the agricultural organizations of the Oryol region is presented.
