In the article investment activity of the population of Kursk area in the sphere of business activity is analyzed. The assessment of volume of investments into individual business is given, to limiting tendency of the population to savings in the form of investments into individual business, indicators of efficiency of business activity in the conditions of influence of the regional environment are presented.
