The livestock sector has enormous potential in terms of mitigating climate change and deal with the consequences of environmental pollution. The realization of this potential requires extensive initiatives at the national and international levels, including by promoting the research, development, diffusion and transfer of technologies for environmental pollution, improved mechanisms for monitoring, recording and monitoring of environmental violations.
