The general growth of investment activity of preclinical years didn't lead to improvement of quality structure of the industry and increase of effective functioning of the industrial organizations. The current instability of macroeconomic situation and unresolved problems of a structural imbalance in the Russian economy dictate the need of scientifically development reasonable long-term industrial policy of the country and effective mechanisms of its realization.
