Modernization of the Russian economy and creation of new shape of Armed forces are impossible without innovative development of the enterprises of defense industry complex. In the article the analysis of the main methods, mechanisms and forms of the state support of innovative development of the enterprises of defense industry complex is carried out, proposals on its improvement and efficiency increase in modern conditions are given.
