In the article the technique of diagnostics of labor potential for shipping company is offered. For the rational account and the analysis of manpower in shipping companies it is offered to use reference models of labor potential of employees of command and ordinary structure in personnel work. As an estimated complex indicator of labor potential the indicator of competitiveness of the personnel is offered.
