This article discusses the regulatory issues of demographic processes in the region, analyzes the fertility, mortality, migration in the Republic of Dagestan. The role of additional measures of the help spent since 2007 for families with children in increase in fertility, mortality reduction, in the maintenance of the mobility of the population in the republic is defined.
