This article discusses the changes that have occurred recently in the United States system of regulation of financial markets and the EU. Special attention is paid to the protection of the rights of private investors, capital adequacy requirements for banks, transactions with derivatives, the reliability of the information provided by the rating agencies. Address the problems that exist in the system of regulating the financial market of Russia.
