In article methodological bases of reproductivistics as a new scientific direction reveal. Three levels of principles and the methods lying in her basis are characterized (philosophical, general and special scientific - economic and statistical), specificity of their application for the decision problems facing before reproductivistics is designated. The assumption is come out that such analysis is necessary for formation of fundamental bases of the future researches and the subsequent institutionalization of a new science.
