Role and essence of the international investment position in the system of balance of payments

In the present work theoretical essence of the balance of payments and international investment position of the country are presented. It is considered the history of beginning and development such macroeconomic statement as the balance of payments. It is determined reasons of differentiation the international investment position from the system of the balance of payments, which are concerning increasing trends of identification international stocks in the system of payments.
