Under the conditions of the expected reduction of state support of agriculture the problem is how to use it the most efficiently. The modern estimating methods of state support utilization are considered in the article. The calculations of the utilization of the budget resources allocated in the development of agriculture of Penza region are given. The necessity of state support monitoring and the ways of its improvement are substantiated.
