This article has evaluated the concepts of "goose-curve hypothesis" and "total factor productivity", used in the study of the functioning of large-scale project - the Olympic Games in Beijing, and also shows the importance of holding the Olympics for the Chinese economy and economic importance of China for the Olympics.
