The realization of economical interests of the commercial organization in getting a profit is fulfilled during the satisfaction of needs of the Buyer by means of selling of the created (acquired) goods. That’s why notwithstanding the completed character of the sales, its management is of primary importance. In the present work the known approaches to the conception «sales management» are analyzed, author’s theoretical and practical description is determined, and the place and role of one of the types of financial reporting (for segments of a business enterprise) are explained.
