The system of value creation in wireless telecommunications: practical aspect

The current state of Russian telecom industry is associated with mobile market saturation, intensification of consolidation activity and toughening competition. These processes entail the increasing importance of value-based management (VBM) in a company’s system of management. In the article the full cycle of VBM implementation in a telecom operator is explored. On the base of mathematical analysis the dependence between wireless operator value and its value drivers is identified. It is concluded that «customer» and non-identified «structural» value drivers have a crucial impact on a market value of telecom company.
