The estimation of the reproductive situation in cities of the Ural-Siberian region and the strategy of its development

Monitoring of the demographic program in strategically important east regions of the country has shown, that measures on birth rate stimulation bring a certain positive effect. But it is obvious that populational potential of cities with the population over 100 thousand persons where lives about half of inhabitants of the Ural-Siberian macroregion is not used. Meanwhile in these cities there is the greatest increase in reproductive indicators. It is offered to return to practice of differentiation of measures on birth rate stimulation in east regions of Russia, first of all with the population from 100 to 500 thousand persons.
