In December of 2008 a Round Table was conducted that was dedicated to the memory of the professor S.B. Barngolts. During this event everybody recalled about the history and landmarks of development of economic analysis as science. In the article are raised questions of generality and specificity of economic analysis and financial management as sciences studied in Russian high schools.
