Subject The article discusses the policies in climate change and assesses the climate policy trends in the international dimension. Objectives The article aims to consolidate disparate pieces of information with the data contained in open sources to get a more complete level of information and gain a better understanding of the interrelationship between the climate policy and economic security of the Russian Federation, and predict further development and possible implications for business and Government in the field of climate. Methods To analyze the impact of climate policies on the economic security of the State, I used a systems approach. Results The article presents analytical data that reflect the indicators of climate policy and international trends in security ensuring and provides certain recommendations for Government and other enterprises and international organizations in the field of climate and security. Conclusions and Relevance Climate change brings entirely new types of threats to security associated with the growing need for countries to adapt fast to the new priorities of world economic development and introduce new modern technologies. The results obtained may contribute to the research activities of students and teachers.
