History of the Publishing house «Finances and Credit»

The «Finances and Credit» - one of the leading Russian publishing houses, specialising on release of magazines under the finance, economy, book keeping, the taxation, - those editions the requirement in which for today for many becomes more and more actual.

The publishing house history begins since 1994 when in Committee of the Russian Federation on the press the first magazine has been registered: «Finances and credit», in 1995 - «Digests-finance» and «All for the bookkeeper». At that time the offer in the market of mass media was poor and in full did not meet requirements of economists, financiers and bookkeepers in the authentic and actual information, therefore thanks to the accurate orientation to experts it is literally from the first numbers our editions began to use the deserved popularity.

In 1998 the Publishing house expands subjects of published magazines and starts to let out the new edition - specialised scientifically-practical and theoretical magazine «Book keeping in the budgetary and noncommercial organisations», devoted to questions of book keeping, the theory and practice of financial and economic activity of the budgetary and noncommercial organisations, applications of budgetary classification, the taxation, exchequer execution of the budget, the civil and budgetary legislation.

In 1999 to the public leaves at once three new monthly editions, focused on various applied questions of book keeping: «The bookkeeper and the law», «Book keeping in publishing house and polygraphy», «The international book keeping». Names of magazines speak about their thematic orientation. So, magazine «The bookkeeper and the law», having the direct purpose increase of legal culture of bookkeepers, brings to attention of readers reviews on arbitration practice of the decision of tax and economic disputes, documents and comments of experts. Magazine «Book keeping in publishing house and polygraphy» - the specialised edition in which specificity of financial and economic activity of mass-media, publishing houses, advertising agencies and the polygraphic enterprises is shown; on concrete examples features of the account and the taxation of various economic operations are explained. «The international book keeping» became the unique specialised magazine in Russia, most full covering problems of reforming of the Russian system of book keeping according to the International standards of the financial reporting.

In 2002 there is a new monthly scientifically-practical and analytical magazine «The economic analysis: theory and practice», devoted to the problems arising in the course of the economic analysis of design decisions, in investment, financial and economic and other kinds of activity. This edition has won at once popularity among economists and financiers, bookkeepers and managers, teachers, post-graduate students and students of high schools.

In 2003 the new monthly scientifically-practical and analytical magazine «Regional economy: theory and practice» starts to be published, covering economic problems of development of regions, branches, manufactures and their economic safety, a problem of the population and a demography, formation, culture, public health services, ecology and wildlife management, social problems and questions of development of an infrastructure.

In 2005 the list of let out periodicals has replenished with one more new scientifically-practical and theoretical magazine «National interests: priorities and safety» which is devoted the actual problems of national safety connected with prospects of management and development of economy of Russia.

Besides magazines the Publishing house «Finances and Credit» publishes books, brochures and monographies on various branches of knowledge.

The publishing house long time co-operates with many high schools of Russia and the CIS, publishing materials on actual problems of the theory and practice of the finance, monetary circulation and the credit, a banking, a securities market, the taxation. The publishing house takes active part in sessions of methodical associations by training in the field of the finance, the account and economic, scientifically-practical seminars and conferences; gives information support necessary for such actions.

Our authors - known scientists of the Moscow State University of Lomonosov, Financial academy at the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the MFA of Russia, The Russian economic academy of a name of Plehanov, the Russian academy of public service at the President of the Russian Federation, Academy of the budget and exchequer of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Audit Chamber, the Russian academy of natural sciences, Ministry of economic development and trade of the Russian Federation, Management of Federal tax service of the Russian federation, leading experts of commercial banks, the insurance companies, the enterprises.

Magazines «Finances and credit» and «Regional economy: theory and practice» thanks to high level of published materials on economic subjects and qualitative giving of the information are included in the list of the editions recommended by the Higher certifying commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for the publication of the basic results of dissertations on competition of degree of the candidate and the doctor of sciences.

The publishing house continues to develop dynamically, every year expanding subjects of published materials and letting out thematically new editions of a financial and economic and accounting orientation, following the basic purpose - as more as possible full to satisfy constantly growing queries of a reader's audience.

In 2004 for outstanding merits in economy, a science, culture, charities, for development of the best traditions of domestic business, for the activity directed on maintenance of preservation and development of national priorities and other outstanding merits before the state and a society the Publishing house «Finances and Credit» has been awarded by the International award of social recognition – an award «Glory of Russia».

At the moment 11 names of scientific magazines on economy, finance and book keeping are issued.
