In the article the analysis of practice of application of crowdsourcing as innovative marketing technology of development of the region is carried out, its advantages are estimated. The marketing content of crowdsourcing from positions of management is considered by the territory. The conclusion is drawn that this technology promotes the solution of several problems of participation of the population in strategic development of the territory, main of which - insignificant financing and lack of interest of the population and business.
