Development of regional economy in the conditions of financial crisis should be based on use of competitive advantages of regions. For the Volgograd region the advantage among the other is the rich mineral-raw-material base. In this connection conclusion of investment agreements with the mining companies on building of industrial complexes is actual for development of economy of region. An example is the cooperation of Administration of the region with ООО МНК «ЕвроХИМ», which results in a putting into operation a complex on manufacture of potash fertilizers on a raw-material base of the Gremyachenskaya deposit.
