Subject. This article discusses the problems of quality of medical services. Objectives. The article aims to determine the areas of development of the Russian telemedicine market in the context of economic sanctions. Methods. For the study, we used the logical and statistical analyses. Results. The article finds that despite the difficulties associated with the ban on the supply to Russia of technical devices necessary for the production of equipment, Russia has accumulated actual experience in providing telemedicine services, and a large number of large digital platforms have been created in the field of healthcare. Conclusions. To develop telemedicine tools and services in Russia, it is necessary to improve the methodological and regulatory framework, and intensify the processes of import substitution in the medical industry.
