One of the main phases of globalization of financial reporting is the establishment of single requirements for the methodology of consolidation and joint arrangements accounting, as well as the disclosure requirements for reporting entities about the relationships with other companies. In order to overcome the existing inconsistence in the practice of consolidation and in the reporting of joint arrangements, IASB issued IFRS 10 «Consolidated Financial Statements» and IFRS 11 «Joint Arrangements». IFRS 12 «Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities» new and comprehensive standard on disclosure requirements for all forms of interests in other entities, including joint arrangements, associates, special purpose vehicles and other unconsolidated structured entities are presented.

Keywords: financial reporting, consolidation, control, joint arrangements, object of investment
