Modern information technology as an instrument of accounting automation

In the end of the 20^th -at the beginning of the 21^st century the more in-depth analysis of the data on the company’s economical activity on the basis of the advanced mathematical and the statistical methods and the automated data processing is quite character and the typical for the modern accounting theory. In the present work possibilities of modern information technology are examined as instruments of accounting automation. As the highest level of achievements in this area an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) is considered. Prospects in development of the accounting automated systems are planned.
