Financial support for projects on nuclear power plants construction as a factor of competitiveness of the Russian nuclear industry in the world market

The article notes that the global nuclear energy sector is recovering with confidence after the accident at “Fukushima” Japanese nuclear power plant, but its development is exposed to risk in the conditions of crisis and in view of high capital expenditure for construction of new power units. The aspect of financing is one of key projects in realization on construction of the new nuclear power plants. The author considers various methods of financing of similar large investment projects. Russia traditionally is one of leaders of the world nuclear energy market. For preservation of competitiveness of the Russian nuclear industry in this market, an integrated approach is necessary to attraction of financing in projects. The paper proposes the principles of realization of this approach.
