In the article the analysis of investment appeal of regions of the North Caucasian federal district on the basis of the factorial approach, allowing to consider interaction of various conditions and features of regional economy is carried out. The assessment of level of investment appeal is carried out on the basis of standardization of set of the private indicators, allowing to compare investment potential from a position of production, financial, innovative, infrastructure capabilities.
