Financial steadiness as a criterion of competitiveness of an enterprise

In terms of financial and economic crisis the problem of increasing competitiveness of russian enterprises becomes even more relevant. In the paper it’s shown that the criterion of company competitiveness growth is its financial stability. A method of positioning map building is suggested and offered principles of counting the company competitiveness index on the basis of the map. Systematical approach of choosing optimal investment volume and structure in extending the company’s competitiveness by criterion of stable economic growth is developed. The article concludes that using this criterion when making decisions regarding improvement of company’s market position allows saving the company competitiveness in long term period.
