In the article there is implemented the analysis of structure and distribution dynamics of the investment flows on the territory of the Russian Federation. There is performed the assessment of the state’s investment policy effectiveness from the point of ensuring the efficiency of the national economy. The authors formulate suggestions aimed to enhancing efficiency of the investment policy as well as searching for the strategic vector of development.
