Tax offences as object of the economic analysis

Becoming and development of market economy in Russia is accompanied by the whole complex of problems, one of which, during all period of reforming there is a scale of shadow sector, concealment of a significant part of incomes and, including, evasion from payment of taxes. The deviant tax behavior has the extremely negative consequences both for separate economic subjects, and for the state as a whole. To one of possible directions of the decision of the given problem can become the measures developed and offered by authors on the basis of the economic analysis of conditions and factors, causing tax offences with application of theoretic-methodological toolkit of the economic theory of crimes and punishments.


Migration processes in the rural area in the Republic of Bashkortostan: results of sociological studies

Importance The article studies the migration processes in rural areas of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
     Objectives The goal is to identify trends in migratory processes in rural areas and specify a combination of factors that influence the direction of movement of the labor force.
     Methods We analyzed statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service and the Territorial Body of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Republic of Bashkortostan. We also studied the subject research materials by various authors, questioning and interviewing data on inhabitants of settlements of different living conditions and income, for the period from January, 2007 to May, 2013.
     Results The study resulted in a number of reports and publications.
     Conclusions and Relevance We concluded that labor migration remains one of the major processes at the regional labor market. Rural areas are still losing population of working age, which is a reflection of the processes of globalization and urbanization. The authenticity of our work is confirmed by annual and final reports of the creative team of the laboratory of socio-economic development of the regions of the Institute for Regional Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The results of this research can be used in developing and adjusting various programs to improve migration policy at the level of regions and the country as a whole.


Qualitative and quantitative methods in economic science: current state and prospects for interaction

Importance The article reviews the current condition and development prospects for the methodology of economic science from the perspective of interaction of qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis.
     Objectives
The study aims to provide theoretical underpinning of modern state, problems and prospects for interaction of qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis in economic research, and to reveal possible trends in their integration as a premise of further development of the economic science methodology.
     Methods
In the study, we employed general scientific methods like observation, analysis, synthesis, comparison, induction, and deduction.
     Results We have generalized theoretical and methodological bases of qualitative and quantitative approaches in economics, disclosed and systematized problems in this sphere, identified preconditions for creating a scientific approach that would integrate qualitative and quantitative methods of research of the economic reality, defined areas of further development of techniques for economic science considering the evolution of interaction of qualitative and quantitative methods of investigation. The article includes recommendations on the use of integrated qualitative-and-quantitative approach in economic research and in economic processes management.
     Conclusions
We emphasize the need to develop the synergetic paradigm methodology from the position of realization of applied mathematics technologies, and the trinary methodology that investigates the problem of the third component in the dilemma, which would provide the integrity of the entire triad. Our key recommendation is to create integration of public authorities, education, production, industry, and business to develop a qualitative-and-quantitative methodology of economic research.
