The article is devoted to the problem of the analysis of competitive advantages at mesolevel. There are considered methodological features of use of one of the most widespread tools of the macroeconomic analysis - production function model. Multifactor productivity is suggested as the key target criteria of competitiveness at mesolevel. The special attention is given to the quantitative substantiation of this target criteria through the dynamic model of production function.

The article presents approaches to assessing the value of the company, their specification and application features for conception of value management. Represented comparative analysis of valuation methods is topical due to the necessity of introduction of contemporary management standards in domestic companies. It should be noted that the article differs with its systematic structure, up-to-date information concerning the results of the latest empirical studies in a field of value assessment of a company, and also formed set of recommendations on the application of the viewed approaches.

Importance The article discusses the process of economic and mathematical modeling of time series describing the volatility of the bitcoin exchange rate through the Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) models.
Objectives We search for, and substantiate tools and mechanisms used to predict the cryptocurrency market developments.
Methods The research applies tools of stochastic analysis of stationary and non-stationary time series.
Results The ARIMA models provide for rather precise estimates of current and future changes in the digital money rates for a three to four month’s time.
Conclusions and Relevance The bitcoin price will have approximated USD 11,000 by the end of Q3 2018. The methodological approaches to modeling help determine not only future trends, but also changes in exchange rates throughout the entire analyzable period. The findings provide empirical information for cryptocurrency market regulators and business community.

Importance The article considers the process of economic and mathematical modeling of time series characterizing the volatility of bitcoin exchange rate on the basis of autoregressive moving average models.
Objectives The purpose of the work is to provide a scientific rationale for tools and mechanisms to forecast the cryptocurrency market development.
Methods The study rests on tools of stochastic analysis of stationary and non-stationary time series characterizing the volatility in the global cryptocurrency market.
Results We prove that ARIMA models enable to predict current and future adjustments of cryptocurrency exchange rates with a high level of accuracy.
Conclusions and Relevance We found that by the end of the third quarter of 2018, the bitcoin market value will be about 11,000 USD. The methodological approaches of modeling help define future trends and fluctuations of exchange rates over the entire forecast period. The findings are of practical interest for both the public authorities and representatives of business community.

Importance Intensification of global socio-political and economic risks inherent in Russian basic industries development show the importance of an increase in innovative activity of branches having a potential of import substitution, like modern instrument engineering. The organization of information system of project management that considers the specifics of modern enterprises and meets the requirements of dynamically developing markets, enables to make a quantum leap in development and gain a long-term competitive edge.
Objectives The aim is to develop recommendations to increase the efficiency of projects realized at instrument-making enterprises by means of organizing the information system of project management.
Methods Using a multi-stage cost-functional analysis, we evaluate the most relevant software products for project management at instrument-making enterprises.
Results We describe the general scheme of implementing projects of design and technological preparation of production, using information systems of project management, reveal and rank basic requirements to software products for instrument- making enterprises, analyze the most popular software products in the Russian software market in terms of their applicability at these enterprise from the perspective of users of software products.
Conclusions Formation of the corporate system of project management, qualitative selection of software products for instrument-making enterprises, considering the strategy of development and competent gradual implementation help increase the efficiency of decisions in particular, and innovative activity of instrument-making domestic enterprises in general.
