Importance The article is devoted to the Ulaanbaatar branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, its achievements and issues, leaders, teachers and students.
     Objectives The research pursues a systematized analysis of setting up and developing the Ulaanbaatar branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. The research deals with the following objectives: to identify trends in the development of the Russian-Mongolian cooperation in education by reviewing cooperation between the USSR/Russia and Mongolia in education.
     Methods To perform the above objective, the article uses methods of logical and historical research, analysis and synthesis. As its novelty, the research identifies the current trends in the development of the Russian-Mongolian cooperation in the field of education.
     Conclusions and Relevance The article concludes that the USSR and Russia substantially supported and assisted Mongolia in the field of education, as a whole, and in setting up its national system of education, in particular.

In the article the private indicators characterizing integrated investment appeal of the region now in use by rating agencies are analyzed. The accounting of measures offered by authors, in particular additional private indicators at an assessment of investment appeal of regions, will allow increasing objectivity of such assessment and investment appeal of regions as a whole. It will allow realizing more fully the investment potential of the region, to increase quality of an assessment of efficiency of use of investments, first of all in an innovation, in the region and to involve business in regional investment and innovative process.

In the article it is noted that Russia gradually loses the positions in Mongolia, including in education. If necessary measures in the specified sphere aren't taken, further (approximately in 10 years) it will be difficult to hope for maintenance of necessary mutual understanding and effective cooperation of two countries in all spheres. However in order that Russian education took a worthy place in Mongolia, it is necessary its support at the state level.

The article considers the US Public debt phenomenon like the core factor of the overcoming financial crisis strategy. The authors used H. Markowitz diversification strategy and calculated parameters and proportions of portfolios incorporated the US Treasury bonds. Subject The article deals with the issues of IFRS 16, considering the theoretical economic concepts contained in this Standard.
Results The article suggests a new definition for lease which highlights the basic aspects of accounting of its facilities and lease payments.
Conclusions Adaptation of IFRS 16 to the specifics of the activities of domestic parties of lease deals will modernize the accounting procedures that reflect the lease, and ultimately help complete the Project of the RF Accounting Regulations on Lease.

The article points out that Mongolia came to the forefront in the world in terms of economic development currently. GDP growth rate in 2012 was 25.8% (in the comparable price of 2005 - 12.3%) according to data of National Statistical Administration of Mongolia. The authors suppose that the gross domestic product of Mongolia will continue to grow such rates up to 2017. The paper emphasizes that the leading countries of the world: USA, Japan, People's Republic of China, Canada, Republic of Korea and other countries actively participate in the Mongolian external relations. The article reveals that the share of China accounts for over 90% of Mongolia's exports and imports to ?. All this is considerably connected with the deterioration of a world environment and loss of the Russian influence in Mongolia as a whole. The volume of the Russian-Mongolian trade has the generally extensive character and significantly depends on an environment and fluctuation in prices of oil products and mineral raw materials in the world markets. The authors discuss that at the present time the issues of the efficiency increase of the Mongolian and Russian trade and economic cooperation.
