The article covers the questions of commercial data storage, highlights major means and methods of data protection. The problem remains urgent, as data disclosure is often able to prevent a market participant from achieving the goals, i.e. constitutes a serious risk for the enterprise safety. Analysis of the structural units of the responsible authority of the Administration of Yekaterinburg showed not only the inadequacy of the federal land law, but failure in terms of internal organization of the Committee. In the article it is noted that G. Markovits's classical model for a choice of an investment portfolio doesn't consider transaction expenses and preferences of the investor concerning positive asymmetry of profitability of a portfolio. The mathematical model which is including these factors and not leading to difficult calculations is offered. Applicability of model to stock market of Russia is shown.

The article names the causes of the world economic crisis and states that the driving force of the financial crisis is the forgotten laws of market economy and their derivatives, such as money, credit, interest, inflation, etc. It criticizes the modern superficial study of economics and asserts that the creation of money cannot be an end in itself, that it should be a means to achieve progress and well-being, and if behind the money there are no real, high-quality goods and services in demand at the market, it will right away become a needless attribute of economic life.

The probability of Yekaterinburg unification with its neighbor cities into one agglomeration - Great Yekaterinburg is very high. This unification will help to solve a lot of different social and economic problems and put on a new level the development of different sectors of new agglomeration economy. However one sector requires special attention - this sector is the development of land relations. A set of prior ways of effective development of land relations and solutions have been worked out and proposed within this article. Besides, the influence of land transformation on the land relations development is forecasted.


On increasing the attractiveness of domestic industrial gas-turbine engines when participating in tenders for equipment procurement

Subject The article addresses the tender procedures for gas turbine equipment, where both domestic and foreign suppliers of industrial gas turbine engine participate.
Objectives The aim is to identify weaknesses of domestic industrial engine suppliers, when they participate in tenders together with foreign ones, reasons for and possible ways of problem elimination.
Methods I performed a comparative analysis of model conditions for supply of domestic and foreign industrial engines to identify the ways that help increase the competitiveness of domestic engines.
Results The paper presents a list of institutional arrangements. If implemented, they will increase the competitiveness of domestic industrial gas turbine engines.
Conclusions The improvement of standards, regulations and specifications for domestic industrial gas turbine engines, along with refinement of contracts for equipment supply with regard to additional service provision will increase their competitiveness.
