Quality of working life and innovative activity of human capital in the context of globalization

In the conditions of global economic space and the amplifying competition for resources the intellectual human capital becomes the main priority for improvement of quality of life of the population of the country. In the article the need of accumulation of the intellectual human capital as the main factor which is promoting increase of the labor productivity level and being one of the main criteria of quality of life is proved.

Subject This article discusses the methodology of using rating in receivables management.
Objectives The article aims to determine whether there is a need to manage receivables and payment discipline of counterparties through the rating assessment of debtors.
Methods For the study, we used the methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, classification, generalization, and some empirical methods. To collect source qualitative and quantitative information, we used interviews and surveys of representatives of the companies under study.
Results The article presents a developed original method of counterparty rating rapid assessment according to the financial results report data for the previous and reporting years in terms of six indicators and the results of payment discipline.
Conclusions Rating is a condition for effective receivables management. The developed approach can be used by rating agencies in assessing the creditworthiness of issuers.


To a trade-off between social values and the quality of living, human capital and motivation to highly productive performance of entrepreneurs in Russia

Subject The article discusses a trade-off between values and quality of living, human capital and motivation to highly productive performance of entrepreneurs in Russia.
Objectives The research traces the relationship of systemic categories, such as human capital, entrepreneurship, quality of living by identifying social values (attitudes) concerning people's motivation for highly productive performance and entrepreneurship. The satisfaction with the quality of living should result from the formation and perfection of personal values.
Methods The research involves methods of historical, logic, and comparative analyses.
Results The article presents the outcome of the social values survey among 200 respondents. I also provide the theoretical underpinning of a trade-off between the quality of living, human capital, motivation for highly productive performance and entrepreneurship. In Russia, would-be entrepreneurs aspire to high profits. However, as they grow more seasoned in business practices, they turn to social and moral values relating to self-fulfillment and the intention to transform the social milieu. Therefore, as the quality of living rises, savvy human capital also goes up. It should be directed to follow the course of constructive social transformations.
Conclusions and Relevance Human capital of an entrepreneur evolves through his/her motivation and incentives for highly productive performance, which depend on personal values, needs and quality of living. The formation of certain business values will promote entrepreneurship and push it to the right direction. The findings can be applied to further research and prove useful for public authorities, employees in order to grow the motivation to highly productive performance and entrepreneurship in line with social values.
