Development of a model of financial efficiency of design and technological preproduction project portfolio on the basis of project team members employment optimization

Importance The article examines the workload optimization of project participants to improve the financial performance of the portfolio of innovative projects of design-to-manufacture preproduction.
Objectives The article aims to develop and testify a model of efficient design-to-manufacture preproduction with the simultaneous workload of participants in multiple projects within the matrix structure of production organization.
Methods I used the economic-mathematical model of optimization of production capacity of the enterprise (the model of loading of interchangeable groups of resources), implemented through the Microsoft Excel software.
Results I have developed and now present a model of financial efficiency of the portfolio budget of innovative projects of design-to-manufacture preproduction on the basis of optimizing the project team members employment. The model can serve as a quantitative justification of labor costs for innovative activity of the enterprise. The model was tested in terms of the project portfolio of instrumentation enterprise.
Conclusions and Relevance The calculation of the proposed model serves strategic and tactical purposes. It is necessary when changing the structure and quantity of participants of projects and should be taken into account when forming a personnel policy and general strategy of the enterprise.

A comparative analysis of application-oriented characteristics of information systems of project management at Russian instrument-making enterprises

Importance Intensification of global socio-political and economic risks inherent in Russian basic industries development show the importance of an increase in innovative activity of branches having a potential of import substitution, like modern instrument engineering. The organization of information system of project management that considers the specifics of modern enterprises and meets the requirements of dynamically developing markets, enables to make a quantum leap in development and gain a long-term competitive edge.
Objectives The aim is to develop recommendations to increase the efficiency of projects realized at instrument-making enterprises by means of organizing the information system of project management.
Methods Using a multi-stage cost-functional analysis, we evaluate the most relevant software products for project management at instrument-making enterprises.
Results We describe the general scheme of implementing projects of design and technological preparation of production, using information systems of project management, reveal and rank basic requirements to software products for instrument- making enterprises, analyze the most popular software products in the Russian software market in terms of their applicability at these enterprise from the perspective of users of software products.
Conclusions Formation of the corporate system of project management, qualitative selection of software products for instrument-making enterprises, considering the strategy of development and competent gradual implementation help increase the efficiency of decisions in particular, and innovative activity of instrument-making domestic enterprises in general.
