Analysis of the Russian market of fitness services

Subject The Russian market of fitness services is one of the low-studied segments of the consumer market. The problem of its effective development gives rise to special relevance of scientific researches in this area.
     Objectives The objective is to analyze the condition and development prospects for the fitness services market in Russia to devise mechanisms for its effective development, namely, to provide the concept of fit clubs and work out their classification, identify development trends in Russian and regional markets, analyze foreign experience, reveal problems and offer their solutions.
     Methods In the work, we identified trends, problems, and development prospects for the Russian market of fitness services based on general-logic methods of research of special and academic literature, reports of marketing agencies, statistical data and the expert method.
     Results We show that the American continent is a leader in the world market. The European market follows it and demonstrates positive dynamics. The Russian market is still lagging behind the leaders, though it is promptly growing and has high potential for development. The study includes a detailed analysis on the case of the regional market of Nizhny Novgorod. We identified major problems impeding the market development. Furthermore, we studied the experience of a number of countries, including the USA and Germany, where the government is proactive in developing the fitness services market, i.e. it not only promotes fitness, but also actively supports it.
     Conclusions and Relevance The conducted research may form a basis for developing mechanisms for effective development of the fitness services market in Russia and regions.

The transition from post-control over accurate payment of taxes and other mandatory payments by organizations to situational and preliminary analysis of organizations' activities requires building conceptually new relations between tax authorities and tax payers, which are based on mutual trust. The article considers the main point of horizontal monitoring approach, notes its advantages to the participants of tax legal matters. The author analyzes foreign practice of entering in agreements on information exchange between tax authorities and tax payers and provides recommendations on this method development in Russia.

Management of the tax relations demands existence of the developed theoretic-methodological base, allowing to lay the foundation for the productive mechanism of organizational support of tax processes. Scientific approaches are presented in the article to essence and the content of tax administration, distinctive features of this process are revealed. It is proved that "quality of tax administration" is the multidimensional concept including an absolute assessment, property of production (services, works), compliance to appointment and cost, degree of satisfaction of inquiries of taxpayers. The ratio of the concepts "efficiency" and "productivity" of tax administration is investigated and attempt of specification of these categories is made.

The article studies an assessment problem of hotel services quality on the basis of a process approach. The offered method is of complex character. It aids to estimate quality of both separate (single) business processes and a general (cumulative) business process of a hotel facility as a whole on the basis of the developed procedures and quality indicators. The authors tested a process approach to a service quality assessment for room reservation by phone in the Nizhny Novgorod four-star hotels. The article contains some recommendations to hotel enterprises on improvement of organization of quality assessment on the basis of a process approach.
