Importance The subject of research is the parent work regarded as activities aimed at the creation of human capital with certain quantitative and qualitative characteristics.
Objectives The aim of this paper is to develop methodologies and indicators to assess the results of parent work.
Methods The methodological basis of the analysis is the human capital theory and the concept of parental labor.
Results We propose four principles to assess the results of the parent work: the principle of possibility and need for evaluation of the parent work results; the principle of integration of the parent labor results by stages; the principle of diversity of information sources used for assessment; the principle of expediency of differentiation for health and social indicators. Based on these principles, we have developed a system of indicators that can be used to assess the results of the parent labor.
Conclusions and Relevance We justify the possibility of application of the developed system of indicators for the formulation of an equitable and effective principle of compensation of expenses of a parent and in accounting for the pension system of the Russian Federation. This could be a new effective mechanism behind reforming the pension system, and it will facilitate the individualization of the pension insurance system, overcoming negative demographic trends.

Importance Coaching is one of the most important elements of training the sports reserve in Russia. Nowadays, the concept of coaching work is practically absent in Russian economic and sociological literature. In this article, coaching is considered as a specific subsystem of social labor, which has certain specifics of its functioning.
Objectives The purpose of the study is to develop an original methodology to measure the socio-economic efficiency of coaching.
Methods We employ methods of logical and statistical analysis, a systems approach and functional approach to the assessment of the content of labor.
Results The paper identifies six stages in measuring the efficiency of coaching labor in the Russian Federation and offers 15 indicators of efficiency in the context of five groups of coaching functions. The indicators are divided into two groups: constant and dynamic. We developed a methodology to calculate constant and dynamic indexes of coaching efficiency.
Conclusions and Relevance The division of coaching efficiency indicators into constant and dynamic solves the problem of considering the specifics of coach’s work with athletes at various stages of preparation, and enables to compare the efficiency of coaching labor with athletes of different ages. The method is applicable to measure the efficiency of coaching labor at the level of individual organization, city, and subject of the Russian Federation.

The relevance of the article bases on the fact that the use of management practices by enterprise management, which are aimed at achieving good financial results, often has the negative effect on employees. One of its forms is employment precarization, which is growing in scale and is directly related to precarious work. Despite several restrictions on the use of precarious work imposed in Russia, this type of employment still remains widespread, and numerous problems of the workers are still unresolved. It is necessary to study the issues of usefulness of labor and social guarantees of precarious employees, the techniques of assessing the efficiency of this form of employment. The authors describe the developed methodology of assessing the effectiveness of entering the system of precarious labor by a candidate to a work position. The authors propose making this assessment through the calculation of social and economic effectiveness of precarious labor. The technique involves systematic indicators by four areas: remuneration, costs, labor intensity and work environment. The systematization, through highlighting the main aspects of labor of attracted professionals, enables to easily manipulate the results of analysis and identify the key issues of unstable forms of employment within a particular undertaking and on a larger scale. The practical significance of the technique is that it enables a candidate to a work position to make an informed decision providing a choice between the opportunities of the precarious labor and potential risks inherent in entering into a sub-standard labor agreement with an employer.

Subject The study examines effective methods and technologies for managing the parental labor, which will provide for higher quality of childhood human capital given they become more effective.
Objectives Our research analyzes the application of methods and techniques for managing the parental labor in today’s Russia.
Methods As a key methodological assumption, the study deals with activities for caring, socializing, raising up children from labor perspectives. Traditionally, parental labor is treated from sociological, economic and socio-economic perspectives. Herein parental labor is analyzed in terms of the managerial approach, which has never been used before to examine the phenomenon.
Results We pointed out six key techniques for managing the parental labor, i.e. management by results, objectives, deviation, needs and interests, and situational and preventative management. Parents were empirically found to almost refrain from using preventative measures to develop children’s health. Preventative activities for educational capital development embrace almost a half of human capital.
Conclusions and Relevance The article reviews the practice of applying the techniques for managing the parental labor and its results. The situational management is showed to be ineffective for ensuring sustainable demographic development of the country and increasing the quality of the future human capital. Capabilities for preventative management of parental labor will provide for higher quality of health, children’s education and the future of human capital nationwide. The findings may prove useful for public authorities and administrative bodies that articulate the national demographic and family policies in order to expand the list of techniques for managing the parental labor and improving performance indicators of respective programs.
