Investment and innovation potential of Russia's regions in categorical discourse

Subject. Modernizing Russia's economy, moving to high-tech production.
Objectives. Identifying and organizing the structural components of investment and innovation potential.
Methods. Comparative analysis, content analysis.
Results. A model for assessing investment and innovation potential at the regional level is proposed, taking into account parameters like financial resources, investment attractiveness, human capital, information and communication infrastructure, and the system of government support.
Conclusions. The investment and innovation potential goes beyond traditional production. It's necessary to develop special methodological approaches to studying investment and innovation potential that properly reflect technological changes in the regional socioeconomic system.
