Subject. This article discusses the issues of food security in Russia, sustainable development of the agricultural sector, and the digital technologies expansion. Objectives. The article aims to develop measures to improve the level of economic security of agricultural organizations based on the analysis and assessment of risks associated with the use of digital technologies. Methods. For the study, we used comparative and statistical analyses. Results. The article justifies the necessity of analyzing and assessing risks caused by the digitalization of the economy, and it presents the author-developed classification of risks that should be considered when designing strategies for the development of agricultural enterprises in the present-day conditions. Conclusions. Successful risk management in agriculture in the context of the digitalization of the economy requires the implementation of a comprehensive approach, involving the introduction of innovative solutions and the continuous development of a system for improving the qualifications of specialists.
