Subject. This article discusses the issues of development of information and communication technologies, and organizing the production of innovative products. Objectives. The article aims to assess various approaches to managing innovative enterprises in the context of the transition to the sixth technology revolution. Methods. For the study, I used systems and comparative analyses. Results. The article finds that the project-and-process approach is highly relevant in the transition to the sixth technological paradigm, where digital information technologies become the key ones, and knowledge is one of the main resources. Conclusions. The choice of the relevant methodology for building up a management system for an innovative enterprise depends on a number of factors, among which the scale of innovation processes, level of digital maturity, and the coverage of the innovation cycle are the key ones.
