Subject. This article discusses the issues related to the implementation of the circular economy principles at Russian industrial enterprises. Objectives. The article aims to develop a scientific and methodological approach to the assessment and analysis of the effectiveness of functional strategies of industrial enterprises. Methods. For the study, we used a systems analysis. Results. The article presents an author-developed scientific and methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of sustainable circular transformation strategies at industrial enterprises, as well as a system of key indicators and methods for collecting and analyzing the necessary data, including economic, environmental and social components. Conclusions. Successful implementation of the circular transformation strategy ensures the harmonious and sustainable development of business entities by generating additional revenues and reducing costs, reducing the volume of industrial waste and harmful emissions, and promoting socially responsible behavior when interacting with stakeholders.
