Plant cell concentrate production in the Novosibirsk Oblast as part of the regional investment strategy implementation

Subject. This article discusses the development of the pharmaceutical industry within the framework of import substitution.
Objectives. The article aims to assess the role of enterprises for the production of cell concentrates in ensuring economic growth in the Novosibirsk Oblast.
Methods. For the study, we used the general scientific research methods.
Results. The article finds that the Novosibirsk Oblast has the necessary industrial facilities for the production of cell concentrates. The transport infrastructure of the Oblast makes it possible to develop the sale of manufactured medicines. It is also possible to create an industrial cluster for the mass production of cell concentrates, the central link of which can be one of the local specialized enterprises.
Conclusions. Large-scale production of cell concentrates is an important condition for achieving the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation in the field of healthcare.
