Subject. This article deals with the issues of development of entrepreneurship and job creation in the regions of Russia.
Objectives. The article aims to assess the demand for and quality of acceleration programmes implemented in the regions of Russia.
Methods. For the study, we used systems, statistical, and content analyses, and the case study method.
Results. The article finds that there are three acceleration services that are the most common in the regions of Russia, namely, training, mentors' assistance, and evaluation, verification, and the idea and product examination. The article presents an author-developed and tested methodological approach, which can help identify the completeness and quality of acceleration services. As well, the article presents certain recommendations for the acceleration system's development in the regions of Russia.
Conclusions. The practical use of the study results may contribute to the acceleration of the entrepreneurship development in Russia.
