In article methodical questions and practical aspects of food supply of the region from positions of its organization and state regulation are considered. Measures for social support of the population for increase of level of economic and physical availability of the food, on achievement of growth of outputs of the food resources, the balanced development of food system of the region, realization of potential of an interregional food exchange are offered.
