In the article determination of anisotropy of social and economic space of the federal district is given and the basic scientific principles of its display are presented. In the course of display of anisotropy of social and economic space donorny and acceptor subsystems are allocated. The author offered a technique of an assessment of efficiency of interaction of subsystems. The assessment of efficiency of interaction of subsystems of regions of the Volga federal district is carried out. Anisotropy of social and economic space of the Volga federal district is considered.
