East policy of Russia and development of east territories of the Russian Federation

In the article on the basis of the analysis of the approaches applied in the state documents, devoted to development of the Far East and the Baikal region, the main directions of east policy of the Russian Federation are presented. It is noted that documents accepted by the Government of the Russian Federation don't provide the decision key for the East of Russia of problems of development: for this purpose preparation of the comprehensive program essentially other type is required.
